We believe in obedience to all the commands of Christ. The great commission demands action of all followers of Christ. The thought of the lost people of the world dying without the knowledge of Jesus Christ must be our greatest concern. Our covenant is to carry the gospel to the ends of the earth.

Prayer Empowered

Prayer is an essential element in the life and ministry of Christian Foundation Fellowship SA, without which nothing of eternal significance could be accomplished. We commit to constantly pursue the empowering presence and person of the Holy Spirit in prayer.

Holy Spirit Enabled

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

Jesus made it clear that the baptism in the Holy Spirit would enable His followers to complete the mandate to reach the world with the Gospel. Recognizing that our own strength is insufficient, we as leaders in this Church trust fully in the working of the Holy Spirit among us. We embrace His guidance and empowerment, and unashamedly confess our commitment to be partakers of the Pentecostal blessing. We believe that by His help, we will be a kingdom-oriented Movement working with believers around the world in the spirit of Christian unity.

Social transformation

Christian Foundation Fellowship SA believes that to reach the community we must be involved in the community. We must continuously partner with relevant stake holders in order to develop social structures constantly that uplift out community.

Social development is therefore the key to greater community outreach. Building human capital through training is our main channel for social transformation. We anticipate to keep training our people in various entrepreneurial and basic life skills for economic transformation.

We emphasis on basic life skills because as a Bible believing and Faith based organization, we also subscribe to these TWO logics in our outreach and service to our community.

The old adage “give man a fish and you will feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a life time” stands as a guiding principle in our understanding on the need to help provide people with basic life skills.

“UBUNTU” (I am because you are). We believe that there is no better way to express why individuals must work for the betterment of others than what “Ubuntu” is and stands for.

Social transformation project vision.

• To create an Empowerment centre whose project goal is to reduce the impact of poverty, joblessness and ignorance in our community by improving their basic life skills levels.

• To tap into our human virtues and creativity that promote compassion and hope for the less fortunate in our community.

• To be a pillar that champions hope and inspires our beneficiaries to become self-reliant and independent for their own betterment.

• To engage in solid partnerships that work to alleviate poverty, improve the living standards, promote sustainable, social and economic development that produce and sustainable communities.

• To partner with other stakeholders to help reduce and prevent social crime, substance abuse and ignorance of alternative life choices.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe in the scripture of the old and the New testament in their original writing as fully inspired of God and accept them as the supreme and the final authority and life.

We believe in one God, eternally existing three persons –Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit. Born of the Virgin Mary and is true God and true man.

We believe that God created man in his own image; that man sinned and thereby incurred the penalty of death, physical and spiritual; that all human beings inherited a sinful nature which issues (in the case of those who reach moral responsibility) in the actual transgression involving personal guilt.

We believe that Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, a substitutionary sacrifice according to the scriptures and that all who believe in him are justified on the ground of his shed blood.

We believe in bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, His ascension into heaven and his present life as our high priest and advocate.

We believe in the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that all that repent of their sins and receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God.

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, empowering and equipping believers for service, with accompanying super natural gifts of the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the divinely ordained ministries of apostle, prophet evangelist, pastor and teacher for the edifying of the body of Christ.
